Consideration for perfection of the Spiritual Body in the D.P. and C.S.G.

< Comparison and Creation Principle Consideration of the Words on Atonement, Sanctification, Growth, and Perfection of the Spiritual Body in the Divine Principle and Cheon Seong Gyeong >

1.   Excerpts from the Divine Principle and Cheon Seong Gyeong.

I. Excerpts from the Divine Principle.

a. The spirit self can only grow by using the physical body as its base.

<Divine Principle. 2006. 42nd Edition. P. 66. Lower. 6th line from the beginning to the end.>

b. Similarly, the spirit self can only be perfected through the physical life on earth.

<Divine Principle. 2006. 42nd Edition. P. 67. Upper. 13th line from the beginning to the 12th line from the end.>

c. Since all the attributes of the spirit self are formed while using the physical body, the deterioration of the spirit self in a fallen person is caused by the sinful acts of the physical life.

Likewise, the sanctification of the spirit self is also achieved through the atonement of the physical life.

<Divine Principle. 2006. 42nd Edition. P. 68. Upper. 5th line from the middle to the 9th line from the middle.>

d. On the other hand, since the spirit self was created to grow only by using the physical body as its base,

the reproduction of the spirit self is always accompanied by the reproduction of the physical body through physical life.

<Divine Principle. 2006. 42nd Edition. P. 68. Lower. 3rd line from the beginning to the end.>

e. Furthermore, human atonement is only possible

while one is using the physical body on earth.

<Divine Principle. 2006. 42nd Edition. P. 541. Lower. 12th line from the beginning to the 11th line from the end.>

II. Excerpts from the Cheon Seong Gyeong.

a. The spirits of those who died without getting married are now being liberated and blessed, as they have grown to the age of 16 or older.

<Cheon Seong Gyeong. P. 1524. Right. Lower. 7th line from the middle to the 3rd line from the beginning.>

b. There are billions of spirits who died without getting married and have grown up in the spirit world waiting for marriage. Because the door has been opened, 1.6 billion couples were married, which is four times the 400 million couples previously blessed.

<Cheon Seong Gyeong. P. 945. Right. Upper. 17th line from the middle to the 13th line from the end.>

c. These are the spirits of babies who died after being born. Babies also grow in the spirit world. When you understand this, you realize that the deceased counterpart grows in the spirit world. If you keep them in your heart and think of them sadly,

they receive the benefit.

<Cheon Seong Gyeong. P. 945. Right. Lower. 5th line from the middle to P. 946. Left. Upper. 8th line from the end.>

d. The path of love cannot be divided. It is horizontal.

Because love is horizontal, it does not disappear even if the son goes away.

In the spirit world, they grow with a horizontal relationship.

Therefore, even if babies are born and die, they grow in the spirit world. If there are children who have gone to the spirit world, they will come back and live if they have not fallen.

<Cheon Seong Gyeong. P. 949. Left. Lower. 11th line from the beginning to the end.>

2.  Consideration of Conflicts between the Excerpts from I Divine Principle and II Cheon Seong Gyeong.

According to the Principle of Creation,

The spirit self receives <Life Elements: Yin Nutrients> from the physical body and

<Life Elements: Yang Nutrients> from God, and

through this, it achieves atonement, sanctification, growth, and perfection.

For the atonement, sanctification, growth, and perfection of the spirit self,

the Life Elements from the physical body are essential nutrients.

However, even if one does not receive these elements from one’s own physical body on earth,

they can still receive Life Elements from the physical bodies of others.

((  This can occur through various means

such as  ( laying on of hands, all-night , fasting, holy ground ) prayer during earthly life, and

the faith life of other earthly people (accumulation of good deeds, penance) during life in the spirit world, or

the spirit self’s own resurrection and rebirth on earth. ))

The concept is that the spirit self can continue to achieve atonement, sanctification, growth, and perfection

both on earth and in the spirit world after shedding the physical body.

In the Divine Principle,

the concept of <Life Elements> is explained only as being supplied by one’s own physical body

(without denying the supply of <Life Elements> from the physical bodies of others).

However, in the Cheon Seong Gyeong,

it is mentioned that the spirit self can achieve atonement, sanctification, growth, and perfection

through the supply of <Life Elements> from the physical bodies of others and

the supply of <Life Elements> from God,

providing more concrete examples.

3. Conclusion.

In the above principle lecture,

the concept of < one’s own physical body > is explained as the source of < vital elements >

(without denying the supply of < vital elements > from others’ physical bodies).

However, in Cheon Seong Gyeong,

it is mentioned that even < others’ physical bodies > can supply < vital elements > and

< life elements > from God,

which can achieve the atonement, sanctification, growth, and perfection of the spiritual body.

This is a more specific empirical case mentioned.
