Original Image Theory, Inner and Outer Four Position Foundation, Reconsidering Conceptual Definition Errors II

Title: Unification Thought – Original Image Theory, Inner and Outer Four Position Foundation,

Reconsidering Conceptual Definition Errors II

1. Citations from Unification Thought

A. From the perspective of the Original Nature (本性相),
there exist Nature ( internal Nature ) and Form (internal Form) within,
and Nature (Original Nature) and Form (Original Form) externally.

<Unification Thought, p. 95, bottom paragraph 3 to bottom paragraph 1>

B. Its origin lies precisely
in the internal and external give-and-take actions of

the Original Nature within the Original Image.

<Unification Thought, p. 96, bottom paragraph 1 to p. 97, top paragraph 1>

C. That is, the Internal Original Nature forms both internal and external Four Position Foundations.

These internal and external Four Position Foundations

centered on the Internal Original Nature within the Original Image

are called the two-stage structure of the Original Image.

Created beings, modeled after this structure,

also form internal and external Four Position Foundations individually—
this is called the two-stage structure of the Four Position Foundation of existence.

<Unification Thought, p. 97, top paragraph 8 to top paragraph 12>

2. Understanding the Above Citations

Through the Principle of Creation

Let us first examine

the definition of the Four Position Foundation of the Original Divine Truth (神相)

within the Original Image (原相) of Unification Thought.

The attributes of the Original Image (The Absolute Original Image of God) include:
•  Divine Spirit (神性): The Absolute Spirit Original Embodiment of God
•  Divine Truth (神相): The Absolute Truth Original Embodiment of God

Attributes of Divine Spirit include:
Absolute love, heart (心情), spirit (神靈), creativity, and Logos (activated, life-bearing post-stage Logos).

Attributes of Divine Truth include:
•  Original Nature (本性相): The Internal Original Nature
•  Original Form (本形狀): The External Original Form

The Internal Original Nature contains:
•  Internal Sung Sang (emotion, intellect, will)
•  Internal Hyung Sang (ideas, concepts, principles, laws, mathematical logic, universals, particulars)

When these Internal Sung Sang and Internal Hyung Sang interact centered on the purpose of creation,

they form the internal Four Position Foundation,

resulting in the generation of Logos (pre-stage, blue print).

The External Original Form contains:
•  External Sung Sang (shape, structure, pattern, regulation, infinite potential for manifestation)
•  External Hyung Sang (matter, material)

When these External Sung Sang and External Hyung Sang interact centered on the purpose of creation,

they form the external Four Position Foundation,

resulting in the generation of Prime Force (acting Prime Force, vertical universal prime force).

The Logos formed through the internal Four Position Foundation of Original Nature

( The First Structure in Original Image and all Beings ),
and the Prime Force formed through the external Four Position Foundation of Original Form,

interact centered on the purpose of creation to form the Four Position Foundation—
resulting in the creation of all things, including human beings

( The Second Structure in Original Image and all Beings ).

This corresponds to the stage: “Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground…” (Genesis 2:7a)

At this point, God’s Divine Spirit permeates:
“…and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life…” (Genesis 2:7b)
—symbolizing

the impartation of God's figurative spiritual body at forming level to humans and

God's symbolic spiritual elements to all things.

This describes the entire process of creation of humanity and all things, including angels,
which Unification Thought systematically explains through a multidimensional logical structure.

3. Reconsidering the Citations

Based on the Above Definitions

A. The phrase “externally,

there are also Internal Nature (Original Nature) and Internal Form (Original Form)”

may cause misunderstanding.

It implies both:
•  Internal Nature and Internal Form within Original Nature (forming the first stage Logos)
•  External Four Position Foundation

between Original Nature and Original Form (forming the second stage: creation of all things)

This two-stage structure mirrors the Genesis 2:7 process.

If the explanation had specially clarified from the outset that:
•  Original Nature and Original Form are  attributed to Divine Truth
•  Internal Nature and Internal Form reside within Original Nature
—then conceptual confusion could have been reduced.

B. The phrase “its origin lies in the internal and external give-and-take actions of Original Nature”

compresses the explanation.

It omits the distinction between:
•  Internal give-and-take action between internal Nature and Internal Form (first stage)
•  External give-and-take action between Original Nature and Original Form (second stage)
—thus risking conceptual ambiguity.

C. The phrase “Original Nature forms internal and external Four Position Foundations” should be clarified as:

“Within the Divine Truth of the Original Image, centered on Original Nature…”

This prevents misinterpretation of sequence and structure.
The Divine Truth contains:
•  Internal Four Position Foundation between internal Nature and Internal Form → Logos (first stage)
•  External Four Position Foundation between Logos and Prime Force → Creation of all things (second stage)
Had the spatial order of explanation been more carefully structured,
readers could have been avoided conceptual and temporal errors in understanding.

4. Conclusion

There is no error in stating that Original Nature forms

both internal and external Four Position Foundations.

However, the compressed explanation ( omitting Divine Truth ) risks misunderstanding.
Clarifying that:
•  Internal Four Position Foundation occurs between internal Nature and Internal Form (first stage)
•  External Four Position Foundation occurs between Original Nature and Original Form (second stage)
—would have preemptively prevented conceptual errors for readers.
